Smokeless Cigarettes: The Healthier Fix? by Nigel Martin
The ill-effects of tobacco consumption through smoking have been well documented and if you, as a smoker, are looking for healthier options, you should know that you have a plethora of options.
What are Smokeless Cigarettes?
Smokeless cigarettes are consumer products that generally work by delivering nicotine to the user through a mist of vapour and generally contain lesser than ten constituents that are found in cigarette smoke as opposed to the more than four thousand constituents found in conventional cigarette smoke. Smokeless cigarettes with zero nicotine content can also be found and these essentially work as displacement therapy facilitators and pacifiers.

Cartridge: The cartridge holds the liquid solution that contains the nicotine supply. This is designed in a manner that facilitates the flow of air, and this is what allows the smoker to draw in on the nicotine. Upon the liquid's depletion, the cartridge is either replaced or refilled.
Atomizer: The atomizer works as the heating element and this enables the liquid to vaporize. Atomizers have a limited life span, and need to be replaced periodically.
The Battery: A majority of the smokeless cigarettes work on Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries, and these are required to provide power to the atomizer. Battery life would depend on factors such as usage, size, type, etc. Also, just as chargers for mobile phone batteries, a user has options to choose from regular wall chargers, USB chargers, as well as car chargers.
Circuitry: A number of models include electronic circuitry that prevents the other components from overheating as well as LEDs (light emitting diodes) which indicate that the device is operational.

Also, while conventional cigarettes also contain the largely debated chemical known as propylene glycol, smokeless cigarettes are devoid of more than 600 harmful chemicals that are found in regular cigarettes.
Smoking these smokeless cigarettes will also keep away the stains on your teeth that come as a result of the various toxins found in conventional cigarettes. The smell that is associated with conventional cigarettes can also become a thing of the past if you decide to make this switch.
